Tim began his business career as a trader, which honed his expertise in trading and risk management. Nearly two decades ago, in order to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit, Tim became a financial advisor at Tax Favored Benefits. He wanted the opportunity to start his own business helping people become financially independent. Tim has experienced success as a financial advisor only through the success of the clients he works with, and he achieves this by always putting their needs first. He exhibits the highest level of personal service and has developed important relationships that transcend a work environment.
Believing work isn’t just work, but more of a passion, Tim uses his analytical strengths and detail-oriented nature to design and implement innovative retirement and wealth management plans that are as unique as his clients.
His dedication has paid off as he is the preferred retirement provider/advisor for the Kansas Dental Association.
Tim is Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registered with Ameritas Investment Company, LLC. Tim is also a Certified Financial Planner®. He holds nearly 10 years of experience trading commodity futures and options, was formerly the Director of Trading at Constellation Power Source, Trader - Portfolio Management at Aquila Inc., and a Trader at Continental Grain Co. Tim is a candidate for the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation and a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
When he’s not in the office, Tim loves spending time with his wife Meredith and their three daughters, Charlotte, Mary Alex and Josie. He is a football fanatic and enjoys golfing, hunting and being with friends.
